Booker's Buddies is our teen group for ages 13–17—a space to connect, create, and have fun at the library! We're currently shaping the program and would love to hear from you. Whether it’s games, crafts, book chats, or something totally different, your ideas can help us make this a place teens want to be. Come be part of what’s next!
The Booker's Buddies Jr Take-and-Make craft for August is an assortment of fall craft kits. Pick up your craft today! One per child, per visit. Children ages 5-12.
Join us for Mother Goose Plus, an early literacy program designed for children ages 0–5 and their parents or caregivers. Through stories, songs, movement, and play, we help little ones build a strong foundation for reading. New sessions begin September 2025—come grow with us!
Kids 18 and under can earn Booker’s Bucks just by reading! Each child receives a personalized bookmark, and every book they check out earns a punch. Once a full row is punched, they earn one Booker’s Buck (valued at $2). Parents can check out extra books, but only the child’s limit of 4 counts toward punches.
Booker’s Bucks can be saved or spent on fun prizes from our display case.
Keep reading, keep earning—and have fun!
Our librarians are committed to bringing library services beyond our walls and into the heart of the community. Whether it’s setting up at the Deer Festival, creating displays for the Gun Show, or joining local club meetings and community luncheons, we’re showing up wherever people gather. These outreach efforts help us connect with more residents, share resources, promote literacy, and make sure everyone knows the library is here to support them—wherever they are. Check the community calendar for our next outing!
